De Nuit is one of the bands that like to mix music of retro 80’s, popular love songs concepts in 90’s and also a bit techno music taste. And finally it really works and simply perfectly matches especially the techno effect and the keyboard instrument. If you have seen Diminished Capacity movie, maybe you have heard the catchy soundtrack, slow down chicago. “Slow Down Chicago” is sung by Canasta Band that also formed in Chicago too. By mixing the alternative rock and electronic musical instruments and technologies, this song make people who listen it on fire and live their life. You can watch the video of this song below.

The video of this song begin when all member of this band woke up from the bed and start their daily activities. Also you must remember, they started their daily activities and playing the musical instrument TOGETHER. The vocalist start to sing, tell you how hard to stay alive in busy city Chicago. After finishing their morning habit, they went outside their home. Next they met together in a small apartment and had their band training. Although this video plot is simple, I think this video is good and make me easier know what this song means.

Not only the video is good, the meaning of the lyric is also great. This song lyric tells us about how hard life it is whenever you are (in Chicago or not) and you must survive. Listening this song also booster up my mood and make me enjoy my daily life. I think the movie director was right to chose this song as a soundtrack.
